Tagxedo uses words and images to make visual arts or word could. It is very versatile and allows plenty of room for the users creative use. A basic use of tagzedo is to load a document of words to the website wither they are your our from a famous speech. Then, you pick from a sample of default shapes to form the word could around. One of the advantages of tagxedo is all of the custom ability that it gives you. You can make custom shapes or download shapes to the site. If you want to get really advanced you can even create a custom font using your handwriting and use that for your tagxedo. How it works is that you upload the text to the site and then it will search the text to find the words that are used the most. Then it will form all of the words into the shape that you have picked out and the size of the word will be based off of how many times it is used in the text that you uploaded. For example if I downloaded my paper to tagxedo that I just wrote about standardize testing SAT would probable be able to be seen from a mile ways cause I use that more then probably anything else. Uses in the classroom would be for students to upload on of the papers that they worked on or an assignment that has lots of words so that they can see some of the words that are used most often in their work. This could be used at any grade level as a fun little assignment that goes along with another assignment. Grade levels would anything in education would work will with this site. Ease of use is very nice it is not hard to work with at all.
